Throwback Update: The Independence House Model

Just in case you're wondering what came out of the 2-storey house being built which was featured in this blog 12 months ago. Here's a photo of the house taken last month:
This is modified from the basic model; a veranda on the eastern side of the house was added as a change order.

On a side note, a basic variant of this house model was turned over in December 2015; shown below is a photo taken during the punchlisting of the said house:
This house had an open plan 2nd floor, i.e. the partitions for the upstairs bedrooms were not put in place to give the owner the flexibility to decide later whether they would have 3 bedrooms, or 2 bedrooms plus a study room.

The open plan option allows the buyer to acquire the property at a lower entry cost, then upgrade the house as income increases.
